Aroma of fruits, honey, hops. Flavour is wonderfully restrained sweetness with a welcome hoppy bitterness in the finish. Congratulations to brewery Boelens for brewing a honey related beer that I enjoyed quite a lot.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. As Sante Bee. Aroma is spicy, but not the onslaught of Christmas spices I expected. Notes of liquorice root, dark malt, caramel, toffee and a hint of dried fruits. Flavour is medium sweet, body is medium.
