Wirklich schönes Weizen, das sich mit den deutschen Vertretern messen kann. Süffig, cremig, sehr aromatisch, Nelke, geiles Teil.

This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a dark brown color with a nice looking tan foamy head. Slid off to leave some light stringy lace.
The aroma had some roasty malt with some earthy tones, light cocoa, and sweet black cherries.
The flavor minimally blended the roastiness to the cocoa and black cherries. Aftertaste felt nice and warming with a better blend than the initial taste.
The feel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch above with a nice steady sipping quality. Carbonation felt fine and the ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, pretty nice imperial stout for the most part but didn’t expect the aftertaste to be better than the initial taste.

This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a dark brown with some red hues along the sides of the glass. Slight runny lace.
The aroma had some roasted malt, light sweet and roasty nuts. Coffee beans and grounds with a dark chocolate came out as it warmed.
The flavor leaned towards the roast and developed a nice rich dark chocolate in the aftertaste. Finish was basically the same.
The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation with the ABV feeling appropriate.
Overall, pretty good stout worthy of having again.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a slight burnt orange/copper color almost red with a finger’s worth of semi-white foamy head that glistened and fell off at a decent pace.
The aroma had some cereal/grainy sweet malts up front trying to flow into some caramel/toffee malts and touching down on some citrusy and piney hops. Doesn’t really come together.
The flavor blended all of the malts together somewhat decently but the hops seemed to stay separated. Slight herbal to malty aftertaste and finish.
The feel was between light and medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation was felt. ABV felt fine.
Overall, not a bad amber, just wish it would have blended better.

Growler brought by one of my co-workers. Thanks! Poured a pretty clear golden yellow color with a small but nice white head. Aroma was nice light stonefruits, light citrus, touch of zest notes, some light sweet malty character, funky yeast notes. Flavor was light funky yeast notes, light and crisp. Easy to drink. Wish it was a little less filtered, but good.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light candy sugar, floral hops, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light curacao, coriander, floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. Cask at CNY Brewfest 2016.

650 ml bottle thanks to Dan P. Pours a deep brown / garnet color with no head. Some particles of yeast suspended in the liquid. Aroma is heavy on dark fruits (raisins, plums, dates) toffee, grass and a bit of sour oak.

The flavor just as heavy on the dark fruit as the aroma leads me to believe. Layers of dark fruit. The body leans on the full side. Also displays a mild sour note from oak. The bourbon does not come through at all. I’m sure the sour note is from the barrel but it totally lacks any bourbon. Ok.
