[33 cl. bottle][15 cl. sample][Split with Kogymo][White Pony Day @ ‘t Antwaerps Bierhuiske] Clear golden with a white head. Smells quite milky and buttery, sweet with Belgian esters and buttermilk. Tastes of buttermilk and butter plus thick yeast followed by Belgian esters and grass. Yeasty and milky body. I am not an expert or anything but that description doesn’t seem all to normal for what it was supposed to be. It was drinkable so it did have that going for it.

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus, Joes and Martinus @ weekly tasting. Clear red-brown color, virtually no head. Aroma of wood, green apple, cooked grapes. Clearly and prominently taste white wine, tannines, grapes, grape peel, lightly green apple. Very refreshing flavor. Average to medium body, soft yet suitable carbonation. Well the barrel aging worked out very intensively with this beer.

33cl bottle at Proletariat NYC. Pours a clear orange with some lacing white head. Nose makes it seem like a hop bomb, orange peel, grass, herbs, yeasty, a little cooked greens. Flavor is more balanced, malt, orange, soap, a little potpourri, a little root veg, some dried leaves, some candy, some yeast. Full, dry, lightly spicy finish. Ok.
