Bottle @ Johns. Pours hazy dark brown with a small offwhite head. Aroma of malt, ryebread, berries, little tart. Flavor of malt, caramel, little fruit, little sour. Medium body, soft carbonation, hides alcohol very well. 220113

33 cl. bottle split with the sicko Dylan. 2011 Vintage at the least. Bright golden with a brief golden head. Taste is sour celary, vegetables, sour lemon, rancid cooked, vegetables,... very off-putting. Quite sour lemon, vegables, honey, sour malt, acidic, more cooked vegetables. Bit flat, yeah, this brewery keeps disappoint with basically very infected, very subpar brews.

Thx! to Kraddel / Dylan - the F*cking $hole, deranged whaler and possible child rappist - he keeps telling me only dead children because they fight back less. As for the beer it is sort of like him but better. 01/2010 Vintage. Bright golden with brief white head. Chemical bright citrus, articial citrus things, citrus flavoured kids medicine, light sour & touch hops, quite nasty frankly, touch vegetables. Sour lemon and malt taste, touch yeast, sour lemon, celary, vegetable, light bitter esters, sour & eggs. Bit flatter, like all beers from this brewery, not quite intentional, meh.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, light-amber colour with a big and minimally off-white foamy head. Spicy Belgian yeasts combined with lemony, flowery and slightly resiny hops on a cara-malty background. Moderately sweet and mildly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Robust caramely malty taste with spicy yeasts, as well as citric hops, resin and traces of cough syrup; sweet malty and mildly hop bitter finish with spicy and delicately fruity accents. Likeable brew, but rather mediocre for a Double IPA. 7.I.13

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a big foamy white head. Slightly tart citrus-fruity, pale malty nose with mineralic notes and a mildly spicy Belgian yeast character. Mildly sweet and sour-tart flavour, rather light bodied with a moderately prickly carbonation. Yeasty, slim pale malty taste with notes of (more or less) freshly squeezed citrus-juice; citric sour-fruity and slightly tart finish. The alcohol of 6.0% is de facto not detectable. Somewhat refreshing but also quite dangerous summer drink. 7.I.13

33 cl. bottle @ home // purchased @ Hopduvel // not expensive // I mainly got this because I heard it sucked almost unbelievably had #curious // pours a red wine / ruby / touch muddy brown with an unnerving lack of head // smells spoiled sour, fermenting grape juice, mouldy, rotting, unintentionally fermenting, sickeningly sour fermenting // taste like rotting grains, chocolate powder, unintentionally fermenting grape juice, mouldy wet rag, cheapest wine gone bad, almost bitter tannins to it, uneatable rotting wild berries, lasting bitterness in the mouth, very cheap hobo wine booze // pretty much flat, clearly non-intended // are they serious about this beer? this is not a sour beer, this is an intentionally infected, rotting, fermenting liquid – this crap is not meant for human consumption // they weren’t brewing this, they either failed or did just did something, sold it as a Belgian sour, probably for export // there is brewing & there is just plain trying to rip off people // one can understand someone brewing a bad beer but selling something like this almost feels criminal // this tastes like something someone brewed in jail // or maybe I am being too harsh or unfair

Just a little prickly pearling, insufficient to raise a head; flat muddy red-brown beer. Sharp vinous nose, also slightly acetic, bacterial. Tad fruity. Flat, slightly vinous and chocolatey, but above all tasting tired & lame. Again fruity-sweetish finish (the alcohol? It certainly doesn’t feel like 10% ABV...) Warming up, solvent to acetone wafting up. Somehow, there is still some carbonation, MF proving. Thinnish body, but somewhat slick. Somebody has tried something - ’what they all do, and are praised for’. Don’t think this result was the idea, however valuable it might have been at the start.
