At Maakun’s. Clear deep golden with white head. Sweet caramel malts, rich citrus fruity and peachy, caramel sweet, light to medium bitter. Full body, nice creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice beer --- Beer merged from original tick of Tradition Barcelona Common Beer on 18 Dec 2017 at 12:27 - Score: 7. Original review text: 3.5

9th July 2016: on-tap at the Le Sec Brewpub in Barcelona with the RBESG guys. A low alcohol slurp before the ’Grand Tasting’ and all that jazz. Poured a hazy light orange colour, on top a wispy white head. Usual Berliner Weisse sour tartness in evidence from the start, decent example of the style, of which I am not a big fan.

On-tap in BierCaB Barcelona on 9th July 2016: with the RBESG guys. Off-white head on a clear old gold coloured body. Malty molasses rule the nose with the taste also malt led but not as sweet as the aroma intimated. Mild bitterness towards the finish in the lightly roasted/toasted, bready maltiness.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona, on tap at the Vaso de Oro. Black colour, creamy beige head. Moderately roasty aroma. Roasty dry flavour, the oatmeal probably lends some smoothness to it all, but is otherwise not to be identified. A fairly good porter.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona, on tap at the Vaso de Oro. Smoked lager / Rauchbier. Deep golden to brown colour. Aroma and flavour of smoked sausage. Not my cup of tea.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona, bottles at the Vaso de Oro. Pale yellow colour, white head. Lactic aroma with wheaty and citrussy notes. Classical gose flavour, slightly lemony with moderate salt, only a hint of papaya. Very refreshing.
