Draft with dinner. Need something light. Gold pour light cloudiness and frothy head. Nose is bready and some herbal notes. Tastes much the same. Nice and crisp

Draught @ The Bungalow, Chicago IL. Foeder aged version. Faintly cloudy dark yellow with a very small frothy light beige head, that's practically only a ring, acidic aroma, high carbonation, medium tart taste with acidic flavor, faintly woodsy, smooth thin body, long finish. A nice saison.

7 ounce wine glass at the Bungalow taproom - lightly hazy peach color, with the slightest hint of red - aroma is moderately funky, with a light acidity, a lot of bright plum and fig - bone dry and moderately acidic - bright fruitiness and loads of oak - mild funk - plum, red wine, light spice - really drying finish, with a light kiss of acetic acid - none of this qualities are assertive or out of balance - dang, it’s good.

12 ounce at their Bungalow pub - pale straw color, lightly hazy - really light and delicate - the wine dominates the approach - lightly funky, a lot of white grape must - the saison manifests late, with a light spice and rusticity - long white wine finish, with a hint of lingering spice - delicate, subtle, and complex - love it.

Aroma is toasty, some caramel. Taste is lightly sweet and moderately bitter with a savory note. Flavors of toasty malt and herbal hops. More bitter than a traditional example and that’s fine with me.

Tap at Middlebrow. Really nails it. Bready chocolate, tons of flavor for the low ABV. World Class example of the style.
