Rerate at the Watering Hole on tap. Boozy, aroma is very herbal, solvents, lemon, orange but too much booze. Taste is the same. Bit too much. Pure alcohol, coriander. Feels Belgian but also feels over amplified. Initial rating Dec '12. Bottle at the Watering Hole. Very clear blond colour with white bubbly head. Aroma lots of herbs, lemon, wheat, like a beefed up wheat beer or some kind of wheaty tripel. Taste is nice. Bit of wheat and herb, lots of citrus initially, then Belgian yeasty. Pretty nice. Not very Japanese but nice. After adding the yeast was more fruity, maybe like spiky tropical fruit crossed with a strawberry. Nice.

Bottle from Yamaoka. Far Yeast x Gigantic 6.7% Daidarobot Juicy Saison Hazy orange-gold with a foamy head wispy head and a juicy orange and spicy saison wheat aroma. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel and round but prickly carbonation. The taste is juicy orange and loads of saison spice but it’s got a pithy was like finish I don’t care much for. All in all a decent beer.

Tap @ Beer Boy, Nakameguro. Hazy whitish yellow pour, some white foam on the top. Looks like yellow plum juice. Spicy nose, raw vegetables with harsh grassy hop character and lots of spices, some citrus peels there too. Taste has first lots of yeast spice and bitterness. Funky as a saison should be. Citrus is also pretty pronounced, overall nice experiment that has turned out quite decent.
