Hazy brown pour, lightly watery, some creamy beige foam on top. Nose has light roast, hops, blackberries. Malty. Tastes malty as well, quite fresh although that ashy roast feel is there as well, turning into bitterness and lingering in the finish. Bit average overall, something is missing - but still drinks OK.

Creamy darker orange, some white foam on the top. Nose is fresh, nice grassy hops covering some grainy-malty body. Bit of green apples. Tastes grainy as well, hop bitterness is medium, somewhat unbalanced and a bit thin - but not bad. Grassy hop linger in the finish. OK but does not awe me at all.

Pours dark and a bit dirty orange, some particles flying around, hazy. Soft NE nose, juicy, light lupulin and oat creaminess to it. Tastes sweet and juicy, tropical, light bitterness but mainly sweet fruits there. Grassy hop bitterness coming out in the finish, causing some quite persistent linger.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks beerandbeyond. Cloudy orange. Sansho, smokiness, spiciness, yuzu, sweet, candy, caramel, dark fruits, yeast, medium-bodied. Not my thing.

I get cream, pepper and dirty socks in the aroma, so we're off to a unique start. When I breathe in through my mouth, I get pinewood, as if I'm in an icy sauna. It's a little peppery in the mouth but the length is quite short.
