Tap @ Beer Boy, Nakameguro. Hazy whitish yellow pour, some white foam on the top. Looks like yellow plum juice. Spicy nose, raw vegetables with harsh grassy hop character and lots of spices, some citrus peels there too. Taste has first lots of yeast spice and bitterness. Funky as a saison should be. Citrus is also pretty pronounced, overall nice experiment that has turned out quite decent.

hazy chalky white, peaches and mango with big yeast character. Good carbonation, tons of tropical fruit with funky Belgian yeast. Slightly tart. Light body. Good bitterness. Interesting take on the style. Well balanced. --- Beer merged from original tick of Far Yeast DAIDARABOT on 13 Sep 2021 at 11:44 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7.5 | Flavor - 6.5 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 8. Barrel-Aged Strong Ale Red-Wine 10.5% A slow-gusher on opening the ruddy orange brown colored beer has some unattractive floaters in it unfortunately. The aroma has a rich fruity yeasty character and some weak red wine notes. Fairly full bodied but finishing very dry. The taste is fruity plums, honey, red wine, some heat and some caramel/toffee in the finish. Quite good, it definitely grew on me. A year old + bottle served in a tulip.

Clear dark shade of golden pour, quite some foam on the top, rocky bubbles. Nose is malty, nondescript, some wet cardboard there. Tastes sweetish, peach and some grainy base. Soft fruity feel there, light grains in the linger. Ok, although not perhaps too special.

Clear golden pour, white foam on the top. Belgian nose, yeasty and lightly hoppy, sweetish. Tastes medium bitter, yeast spices, definitely Belgian in character. Tastes lightly herbal, spicy yeast character, grassy. Drinks OK as an IPA, clearly Belgian in character, smooth and with good bitterness.
