From old tasting notes. Bright yellow gold color. Thick rocky white head. Sweet buttery malt aroma. Soft, sweet fruity malt flavor has a firm hop background very much in the vein of Eastern European lagers.

PET 2L. Clear deep golden, small white head, poor retention. Smells of really bad old cereals devoid of sugars. Tastes like those same cereals mashed in water, a lot of water. That is it.

PET 2L. Clear deep golden, small white head, bad retention. Smells of stale malts, wet vegetation. Dry macro-lager taste, old grains and husk and light vegetal astringency. No malts, no sugars, no hops. Just what a discount supermarket beer is supposed to be.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear yellow, rocky white head. Smells of sack malts, husky. The taste is sweet, but in a weird overly malty way, as if it had some artificial malt flavourings added to it - never seen that before. On the other hand, it has a very clean and soft mouthfeel. No hops. Wired.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear brandy color, zero retention head. The aroma is pretty much Oloroso sherry, dry and oxidized, oily and nutty. The flavour is there as well, dry and oxidized, with just a hint of sweetness, just a bit if residual cereals, a bit thin and with a slight hint of paper in the finish. After six year in the bottle, it just not the beer it was supposed to be. It tastes like Oloroso and I like sherry.

CAN 50 CL. Clear bright golden, white head. Sweet, more syrupy than worty, a bit fruity actually. A run of the mill non-alco, not among the best.

Murky Yellow, Borș acru, white head. Smells of orange syrup, some cardboard, not much spices, if any. Taste: tart industrial wit, cooked corn, husky astringency. Not that much cardboard this time. Not good. 5-2-4-3-9=2,3

BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear pale yellow, white head. Clean warm bready aroma, dry herbs. Clean lager taste - malt and bread, light sweetness and no bitterness. Quite carbonated and a little smoky. At least it is pretty clean. Not bad for Martens.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Clear amber, white head. Clean malty aroma, tart/fermenting fruit notes. Taste: big malts, moderate sweetness, biscuits, pretty sweet but not at all sticky. Clean smooth mouthfeel. No booze at all. Quite nice.
