BOTTLE 50 CL. Crystal Clear deep amber (sediment), almost no head. The aroma is a super strong Oloroso sherry with a hint of malt in the background. The taste has some of that sherry oxidation sherry notes but too a lesser extent, more malt. The body is surprisingly weak, obviously no hops, but also no carbonation and (!) no alcohol heat. Great smell, but the taste and body is a bit of let down. Still, probably got much better with the age.

BOTTLE 50 CL from a Penny Market. Clear pale gold, white head. Subtle aroma of sweet pale malts, harsh grass, struck matches, light cider. Taste like a dry industrial lager, clean malts. No big flaws, not much character either - just your average middle of the pack cheap industrial pale lager.

BOTTLE, 2017 version, 5% ABV, 10P. Clear golden, sticky white head. Clean pale malts, sweet white bread, just a touch of struck matches. No hops. Similar taste - soft pale malts, very clean, a little over-carbonated, really short on hops. A very nice and clean helles.

Sampled at the June THT. Clear caramel pour with no head. Notes of caramel, alcohol, dried fruit, sherry. A bit too boozy but surprisingly decent. I think 5 years of age worked in favor of the beer.

7 3 6 3 13 Bottle shared at THT thanks to mariuspoenari. 5 years old. Clear dark golden with short lasting white head. Marzipan, caramel, cognac, light sherry, light bread, alcohol, oxidized old fruits. Over medium sweet and alcoholic bitter. Full bodied with lots of alcohol. Not bad at all, the age probably helped a lot.

PET 1L. Clear pale gold, white head. The nose has subtle white loaf crust, warm dried herbs, no detectable off-flavours. Taste: soft pale malt sweetness, light herbal bitterness with a little bit of that industrial harshness in it. Not bad for a macro.

From old tasting notes. Bright yellow gold color. Thick rocky white head. Sweet buttery malt aroma. Soft, sweet fruity malt flavor has a firm hop background very much in the vein of Eastern European lagers.
