16oz can from a random liquor store on Cape Cod. Drunk at our apartment in Dennis Port. Pours dark with a small tan head. Decent milk stout, has an appealing milk chocolate undercurrent with additional candy notes.. not bad.

Brewery draught, 1/30/23. Clear, light blonde with some deeper brass. Small, white head. Nose has a nice mix of apple sugar, cider fermentation (pepper, Brett notes of light band aid, and vanilla). Clean, low lactic character. Soft, malty, juicy, fairly sweet and perhaps a bit heavy-handed on the apple addition, but it's clean and flavorful and almost balanced by lactic acid it and tartness.

10oz brewery draught, 1/30/23. Dark. Little/no head. Maple-infused bourbon is notable but not overdone in the nose, nor is it overdone with coffee. Not stale/ashen or harsh, but fruity moreso with good levity and the bourbon coming off spicy and bright as the maple aids in balancing alongside the base malt. Good aroma strength, clean, with no alcohol noted. Soft, malty, clean, well-presented with a medium-full body and high attenuation. No syrupiness or even terribly strong viscosity. Excellent bourbon, coffee and maple flavors with lots of roast, light vanilla and hints of fudge and dark fruit. Honestly, with the amount of mega abv stouts I've been having these days, I sort of crave the syrupy, viscous versions, but objectively this is every bit as good as those, with far less sugar than most, to-boot.

Brewery draught 1/30/23. Warm-toned honey. Clear, large, white head steadily fades. Clean, malt-forward with baguette/cracker and light honey. Low but ample hops for the style with fresh herbs and pepper. No alcohol. Soft, malty, yet still on the lighter side for the style, clean. Low minerality, low hops. Sourdough baguette with a bit of honey.

Brewery draught, 1/30/23. Clear, pale, white-gold. Small, white head. Fresh, fragrant, floral hops with pepper and a bit of herbs. Clean, crisp, grainy malts below it balancing gently. Clean yeast, though low minerality. Soft, quite light, nicely hoppy with a strong floral bouquet. High attenuation and lots of cracker and a hint of sourdough. Clean.

Brewery draught, 1/30/23. Dark. Clear. Ruddy highlights. Light-tan head slowly to edges. That's one of the better peanut butter noses I've smelled. It's laced with plenty of vanilla-like character which makes it all the more fruity and intense. Doesn't seem overdone/cheap/syrupy/sugary. Base stout is light (only 5%) so it's not chalk full of stout character. But there's light coffee, dark fruit and such. Clean. Soft, easygoing, medium-light bodied with good attenuation. Chocolate, coffee, vanilla and not-overdone peanut butter. Tasteful and highly flavorful while retaining its drinkability and not being cloying or artificial.

Brewery draught, 1/30/23. Moderately hazy, light amber-tinged brass. Small, white head. Definitely some melon in there, though it stops short of being punchy and overly sweet/sugary/tropical. Some grapefruit on the finish helps see to that. Soft, white bread-like malts and clean yeast with no alcohol. Simple, straightforward citrus and melon with lightly succulent, well-attenuated malts adding white bread like sweetness. Easygoing and a good choice of a session beer.

Brewery draught, 1/30/23. Clear, bright ruby-tinted amber with a small, light beige head showing moderate retention. Hop-forward in the nose, which is, honestly, the only way I've found this style to be passable. Otherwise it's just like drinking a glass of caramel and toast. Here there's good herbal and citrus notes from the hops with light toast, vanilla and only minimal toffee/caramel. Clean, no alcohol noted. Soft, malty, well-attenuated, hoppy and with great bitterness and just a pinch of citrus juiciness. Floral/herbal suggestions and a nip of sweet toffee-vanilla lingering.
