[ As Summer Wine Road Trip ].Clear light dark amber - orange red color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, fruity, dark fruit. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, dark fruit, dark hops, caramel, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150214] 7-3-7-3-15

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - amber red with a nice fluffy head. Looks perfect. Nose - redcurrants and oranges. Sweet malt. Taste - tonnes more of the same. It favours red and orange fruit at different points. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long elegant finish. Overall - what a lovely beer. Go the red ales!

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden with a slight haze and a nice head. Nose - citrus and sweat. Some plant stalks. Taste - more of the same. Didn’t expect to taste the sweat. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - decent though not that amazing for one of the UK’s top brewers.

Dark blond colour with creamy head. Aroma and flavour have some toasted malts. Smooth and creamy texture. Hints of cocoa.

Cask at Wild Cat; clear golden amber pour with a thin off white head, aroma has slight prickly pine, taste has tangerine, hints of pine, sweet malt action running through it.

On keg at Cloisters. Appearance - golden with a thin head. Nose - massive mango and grapefruit note. Taste - lime chutney and resin. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - it’s lovely. The taste is less generous than the nose but still good.

Keg at Cloisters. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of lemon, lime, grapefruit. Taste is a citrus party in my mouth. This beer is like my ideal partner - cold, bitter, and a little bit gassy.
