(330ml bottle @ VilleValla Pub, Linkรถping, Mar 6 2015) Pours black with a tiny off white bubbly head and no lace. Aroma of coffee grounds and a bit of toffee and roast malt sweetness. Slightly watery with cold weak coffee, artificial vanilla, bit of toffee, a little sweet and transitioning to bitter and spent coffee grounds. Light bodied with little heft and carb and no real alcohol heat. I was expecting something a bit heftier and this was a competent but not top tier coffee stout. Didnโt seem that complex or well-integrated, though to be fair it was drank alongside Goliat, Founders Breakfast and Brunch Weasel, tough company.

Bottle at home, from Ales By Mail, 14/03/15. Very lightly hazed golden with little in the way of a covering, just a trace of spotting. Nose is bitter lemon, damp straw, light spice, clove, yeast esters. Taste comprises citric peel, hint of tangerine, light metallic element, spice, yeast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so, on par for style.

Bottle. Very strong hopped beer, hops in aroma and taste, some honey malt, good bitterness. Ale for hopheads.
