This stout poured a deep black colour with a soapy, tan coloured head. Minimal lacing. Scents include coffee, molasses and Melloids cough drops without the menthol. First swig was a little thin but flavourful. Tastes of coffee, smoke and caramel most prominent. Finish is nice and burnt with coffee flavour lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A reddish copper ale with a thick frothy lacing brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with loads of Brett, ground cherries, lactic acid, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with resinous herbaceous hops, licorice, herbal and smooth. In mouth, sweet fruity malt caramel malt with light grassy hops, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice and complex. On tap at Funkfest 2017.

Dark pour, fluffy tan head. Sweet malt, mild smoke. Sweet taste, over a mild thin malt, not a heavy smoke which is good, in my opinion. Lingerin sweetness. Overall quite quaffable.

Oh boy! I feel infection right away from the sour nose. Pours a clean copper-amber colour with a light beige, creamy head, decent lasting with some good creamy lace. Yes, infection in the taste as well. Thankfully, it is milder and does not linger around. Aromas of mild roasted malts and hints of dark fruits. Hard to taste the honey as the sourness covers it, and the flavours are watered-down. Hints of smoke malts lingers a little. Would like to taste a fresh one, but still think it lacks some punch.

Dark amber color, maybe brown, medium sized head. I smell pumpkin pie spices, the mouthfeel is drier than expected, there is some caramel, hints of spices, and dull final.
Quite boring.
