Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong, Bangkok. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head and a little broken lace. The aroma is malt, light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a fresh crisp fruity light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A decent beer but nothing special for me. The high rating surprises me.

Bottle. Hazy peachy amber with an off white head. Aroma of somewhat cleaning fluid-ish citrus, messy bread (an earthy, almost animal note), caramel, pine. Lightish bodied with fairly low carbonation. Rather empty (the weird notes in the aroma were at least interesting) before citrus, menthol and fairly strong bitterness with a little booze. [3.1]Can. Better. Still some strange "almost animal" notes in the aroma, but less. Much more normal body and the booze doesn't stick out. IIPA is "craft" malt liquor, right?

Keg at Draft House Tower Bridge. Amber/golden, just slightly hazy. Huge head, this is a lively little fella. Light malty smell with metallic notes and earthy notes. Taste is bittersweet, a bit gluey, with grassy hop in the finish. It’s certainly drinkable but I had higher hopes for this.

Bottleshare at Matteo’s. Thanks to Daniel. Clear deep amber beer, good pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, modest carbonation. Smooth mild dark malts. Trace of milky sweetness. Modest dark malt tang and dark fruits. Smooth semi dry finish. Okay.

Draft at the Taproom, Bangkok. Poured a murky straw colour with a frothy white head and lots of broken lace. The flavour is big grassy citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big fresh crispy fruit, light pepper spice palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bomber from the grocery store. Aroma is strong in real raspberries; also, chocolate, dark bread crust, licorice. Pours dark brown but looks clear ruby red in the light; has a medium beige head that falls into a ring after a minute. Taste starts out faintly sweet and roasty before leading into a dry finish. Wow, what a nice surprise. I’ve been passing this beer up on the store shelves for years. I never thought it would amount to much. I’m glad I finally picked it up.

On tap at Tap Craft Beer Bar, Singapore. A bit hazy light amber with a small head. Aroma and taste of fruit, some grass, malt, grapefruit and light resin. The body was medium as was the bitterness.
