About
David Cole and Peter Erickson are the founders and co-owners of Epic Brewing Company. Cole and Erickson, originally from California, started an international aquaculture company in Utah in 1992. In 2008, Utah law changed allowing these two entrepreneurs to pursue their longtime dream of opening a strong beer microbrewery in Utah, like those they frequented in the Golden State.
Admittedly, beer geeks, foodies, and "Epic" adventure junkies, share a passion for making and drinking fine ales and lagers. The Epic team has a strong belief in doing everything "all out."

Bomber from the Utah State Liquor Store in Cedar City. Nose is light pumpkin and roasted coffee with a hint of vanilla. Not much whiskey. Black with a medium tan head. Flavor is lightly sweet coffee with what tastes like a couple drops of pumpkin coffee creamer.

Bomber from Brewers Haven. Dark Brown pour, one finger beige head. Chocolaty aroma, hint of pumpkin pie spice. Taste is more pumpkin than pie spice, chocolate notes, roast malts. Velvety feel.

Bomber bottle. Black pour with a small khaki colored head that has fair retention. Aroma of chocolates, dark fruits and booze. Taste, like the aroma, is chocolates, booze, raisins, plums, and walnuts. Palate is full and creamy. Finishes long with lingering complex mochas. Overall: A fine quaff.

Bottle at home. Three year old. Has a dark brown to black colour with a smal beige head. Aroma of coffee (!), chocolate truffles, oak, tobacco, bourbon and leather. Flavour of roasted malt, oak, lactose, dark chocolate, coffee and ash in the end. Has a slick mouth feel, full-bodied and a light to medium bitterness. Well-roasted and rich with lots of coffee.
