473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy amber-copper with a small, foamy, short lived, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready caramel malt, spicy rye, Belgian yeast, earth, a hint of banana and floral hops. Sweet flavour of toasted caramel malt, toffee, spicy rye, brown sugar, Belgian yeast and floral hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a sticky, syrupy texture and soft carbonation. Malt forward and tasty.

Florals and citrus. Coriander. Nicely done Tripel. Golden pour with decent head and lacing. Light sweet finish with a note of orange tang. Nice body and nice balance. Bottle.

Draught, at the brewery. Hazy and a bit dull…not as cloudy as most examples. Banana and a bit of bubblegum on the nose. More bitterness than expected and some berryish hops. The malt is sticky, a bit heavy. Phenol, banana. Still too sweet for me.

Draught at the brewery. Pale and slight haze. Nice sichuan pepper, lemongrass, bit orange. Malt base is okay, touch of wheatiness. Not bad, the blend of spices does make it more interesting than most examples.

Darkish golden colour. Thin head. Fruity, piney, moderate bitterness. Clean bready malt. Well balanced. Really refreshing.

Darkish amber, thin head. Sweet malt nose, on the palate it’s, different. Not necessarily im a way I like, though. Sweet sticky again, lots of chewy rye, quite phenolic. For me these Belgiany ones are too sticky.

473ml can. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Semi-sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and a hint of smoke. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, cherry and ash in a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft to average carbonation. Enjoyable.

650ml bottle found in Golden. Good deep clear copper body and pretty good foam on top. The aroma is unduly harsh, plenty of sweet yeast there that drowns out some nice biscuit and malt notes. Taste is plenty of chewy maltiness, chunky biscuit and chocolate notes, yeast carrying it throughout and some nice carbonation therein. Lots of chocolate notes, a little simple but slowly getting there.

650ml bottle found in Golden. Pours with a very nice medium gold and strong carbonation, good foam. Nice earthy hop aroma, musty with some grain but not overbearing. Taste is chewy malts, syrupy, smooth hops to hold it together. Ends up thick but still smooth and drinkable. Not bad for what it is.
