Dullish dark tan. Medium head. On the nose, itβs got some light hop. Some piney bitterness, light orange. The malts are a bit dull, however, flabby, and not providing a good base for the hops to shine (and not shining on their own).

Tasting at Matt's, vintage 2019, bottle
Solid imperial stout, with very strong alcohol punch; there is a good balance of roasted malt and chocolate, then rounded off by the bourbon; moderately sweet.
Boozy dark chocolate, good.

There's a slight haze and a pale colour. The aroma has a nice bretty accent, and on the palate I get a lot of brett, and it's actually quite light in the body. I like this one.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma is gently fruity, with a nice earthy funk, gentle farmhouse character, and a touch of rustic saison yeast. Flavour is a fair bit different, with lots of soft stone fruits, low-to-moderate oak, rustic saison yeast, and a bit of funk. Soft, fruity and oaky finish. Complex and well-made. Excellent.

650mL bottle, pours a clears pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals a really nice dry piney hop character, rustic saison yeast, and some floral notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with a really nice piney hop character upfront, rustic saison yeast, and a nice gente floral undertone. Really like the amarillo here, which leaves a pleasant bitterness. Very good.

Soft fruitiness and yeast aroma, has okay foam on a cloudy yellow body. Flavour is soft fruitiness and more yeast, I'd be hard pressed to say I tasted strawberry. Mouthfeel is full with okay carbonation. It's not bad, but everything about it could be more exciting.
