Bright gold. A bit sweet, that Belgian yeast has a vibe… ok it feels like the one Whitetooth uses, or Duvel yeast fermed at the wrong temps.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Lightly hazed yellow with small white head. Dry brett and oak, light oaty saison, light body. Some surprisingly decent flavour, but lacking in body.

Poured from 750mL bottle (2021 vintage; thanks dad). Clear blonde gold with dissipating white head. Lacto cheese, some cheerio, very feint fruity tartness, almost none existent background whiskey character. There are off flavours, but nothing egregiously disgusting. Honestly, was expecting worse. Not good, but not a drain pour. Does get worse as it warms.

Has a blend of Kviek and Belgian saison yeast - both come through, but gives a weird mesh, some funk, some very drying bitterness in the finish, not picking up the barrels, very feint band aid on the nose. Everything just seems muddled.
