Cask @ Moon Under Water, Manchester. Clear blonde with a head. Citrus based hoppy pale with some bitterness about it.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 23rd April 2024. Hazy pale gold with shallow, whitish foam and full lacing. Hoppy aroma with citrus. Zesty citrus peel in-mouth with nutty malts. A finish of floral and fruity hoppiness. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Not quite black, but getting there, not as rich as suggested, but getting there also! Very easy stout to drink with a light-brown head.

Appearance: Slightly fogged reddish amber with a decent head. Aroma: Biscuits, slightly toasted, floral & herbal hop, esters, some hop. Taste: Medium dry. Hoppy upfront. Floral & herbal, biscuits, honey, esters, earth. Lingering hoppy ending. Mouth feel: Medium body, average carbonation. Summary: Good.

Half pint, cask ale, shared with Finn at Shakespeares Head. Wetherspoon Beer Festival, March 24. Clear amber-gold body, remaining white head, fair lacing. Moderate smell of floral fruits. Hints of orange and lemon to the taste profile followed by notes of citrus shells towards the finish. Pretty good. (London, 16.03.2024).

Bradford Beer Festival 2024. Cloudy yellow-gold in colour. Citrus based fruity cask textured brew. Smooth in the palate with light citric activity, but low flavour in this respect.

Bottle@SBWF2022. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is nutty, some mild wooden and citrusy tones. Flavour is bitter wood, some citrus and mild floral tones along with some nutty tones. Easy going.

Bottle@SBWF2022. Rubyish brown colour with a big beige foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, some nutty tones with liquorice, mild toffee. Flavour is toasted malts, some nutty tones along with wooden and mild toffee tones. Smooth and very drinkable.
