AROMA: I get minor scents of sweet citrus (tangerine/orange), banana, bread, and a hint of bubble gum. Most of the Hefeweizens that I've tried have been fairly aromatic. So I'm a bit disappointed in how subdued the aroma is for this beer.
APPEARANCE: Pours a hazy pale gold, with a thin, white head that dissipates quickly with absolutely no lacing.
TASTE: I'm first hit with sweet citrus flavors of tangerine and a touch of lemon, that then transitions to the more traditional banana and clove flavors of a Hefeweizen. The finish is slightly dry with the banana flavor hanging on to the very end. The sweetness level is higher than the typical Hefeweizen and I'm not sure how I feel about that. I don't hate it, but I also don't love it. It's just ... different. However, what I do like is the citrus flavor as it adds a touch of uniqueness to help differentiate this beer from other Hefeweizens. It also helps to dampen the (usually) overpowering banana flavor of typical Hefeweizens.
MOUTHFEEL: The body is a bit watery and I would say it is right on the thin/medium border with it leaning towards being thin-bodied. Texture is slightly dry and somewhat tacky on the tongue. Carbonation is on the high side of average.
OVERALL: Flavor-wise, I think I like this beer okay. However, in the future, given the mediocre body, aroma, and appearance of this beer, I think my money would be better spent on other Hefeweizens.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a hazy gold color with an off-white head and good retention. Almost no lacing. Yeasty aroma. Belgian yeast flavor with some funky tangy tropical fruit flavors mixed in. The fruit flavor helps hide some of the yeasty notes, but it’s still too yeasty for me. Medium body and medium-light carbonation. Not bitter.

AROMA: First hit with strong scent of coconut and then wisps of chocolate and coffee followed. The coconut aroma overpowers just about everything else, and is a little odd as it does not smell like fresh coconut. Instead, it smells more like coconut oil. Which I find to be a little off-putting because it reminds me more of suntan lotion than something to ingest.
APPEARANCE: It pours an opaque black with a tall, dark-tan, foamy head that dissipates slowly with excellent lacing. This is one delicious looking beer!!
TASTE: Initially it is moderately sweet with flavors of coffee and chocolate hitting first, followed by the coconut. On the back end, the bitterness of the coffee starts to come through and then there is more coconut sweetness that fades away ever so slowly. The flavors of coconut, chocolate, and coffee are much more evenly balanced than their aromas would hint at.
MOUTHFEEL: Full-bodied with a smooth and creamy texture, and average carbonation. This is a luxurious feeling beer!
OVERALL: Other than my slight dislike of the coconut aroma, I can find little fault with this beer. It has a heavenly body, nice flavor, and looks fantastic in a clear glass!

Disney vacation beer three - bottle - black pour - nice smooth integration of the bourbon without making it boozy; just warming, with moderate whiskey flavor - I love High West Bourbon, so I may be skewed in favor of this one - chocolate, vanilla, coconut, cherry, oak, almond - warming finish - I dig it.

Part of an Advent calendar.
Best by December 2022. Yikes.
Pours a mostly clear pale gold with a small head of foam with some lacing.
Smells of cloves and banana, not much beyond that as the cloves are really strong.
Wheat, big cloves, bananas, eh...rather typical of the style, just not in the freshest way.
Light body and carbonation.
Good enough, I guess.
