Poured from 750mL bottle. Light murky pinkish brown with small off white head. Quite active when opened. Mild red wine, saison yeast. Decent.

750ml @ Phill's. Appearance: a weird dirty light purple with a white head. Aroma: a bit of fermented veggies, some grapes, a bit funky. Taste: along the same lines, quite juicy, a good amount of the grape notes. Overall: pretty good.

Hazy light purple colour. It's got a bit of fruitiness from the wine, it's effervescent. The base is okay, medium body, with a bit of residual sweetness and a touch of barrel. The effervescence sort of gets in the way of the overall presentation.

750mL bottle, pours an orange plaque dark rusted amber with a medium pink-tinged head. Aroma is a bit farty, but it's grape must, some earthy funk, light tart, and vinous notes. Flavour is quite vinous, with red wine barrels, grape must, oak, and some earthy funk. This actually comes together pretty decently. Musty, vinous finish. Not the most complex saison, but it's pretty solid.

Poured from the tap. Clear pale blonde with small white head. Light grain, mild grassy hops, and a hint of soap. It’s better than their barrel aged pils.....

Deep gold body and okay foam, slightly creamy. Smells of lots of banana, soft caramel. Flavour is okay banana and honey, some soft grain. Full finish. Standard for the style, clean and drinkable enough.

Clear gold with a decent white head. Raw wood and some green apple. Raw woody notes, bitter and intense. Not good.

500ml @ Ryan's. Appearance: hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: super harsh weird hops, some barrel note, and chemicals. Taste: along the same line with a super bitter aftertaste. The only good about the taste of this one is that you can feel creamy notes coming from oak of the bourbon barrel. Overall: garbage.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Clear yellow with minimal white head. Perfume, pine, herbal. Bad.

500mL bottle, pours a clear blonde with a small head. First of all, seriously? A 4.2% pilsner put in a bourbon barrel—whose genius idea was this? Aroma brings out herbal and grassy notes, perfumey nail polish remover—ugh. Flavour is just unpleasant, with raw pine needles, nail polish, and some herbal notes. This is worse than expected. Very poor.
