Medium brown. Pours flat - looks like a short pour on the growler, which is a bit weird. The aroma has a big, overly roasted coffee nose. The palate is fairly nutty, the coffee a bit more understated than on the nose, Fairly soft, a bit on the sweet side, but the coffee actually comes across balanced on the palate.

Growler, thanks Brian! Kind of an ugly colour, just dull yeasty. Very harsh green powdery aroma. Really just a whack of hop powder stuff...bitterness is pretty harsh and there's not a whole lot of malt character. Rough... not altogether bad, but definitely in need of refinement.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy blond colour. The aroma suggests some delicate crisp malts, but the flavour is simpler than expected, not much to take home, mellow. Clean though.

Darker blond colour, clean. The arom ais lightly musky; the malt base is off-dry, but with good body strength, a bit bready, traces of hay; the hops are a bit herbaceous, and resiny.
Ok Pale Ale.

Draught at the brewery
Blond colour with orange hue, cloudy to murky. Strong smell of yeast, some cabbage, light peach. Some sweetness, some flour (oats?), light fruity touch, light cabbage, and very low bitterness.
North American Saison, not particularly interesting.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy amber colour. Biscuity malts base, hint of vegetables and butter, pithy bitterness, quite sticky mouthfeel.
This is an old school IPA, and not even very well executed.

Draught at the brewery
Black colour. Nice aroma of toasted malts. Very smoot, faily sweet, with dark caramel, dark malts, a pinch of dark chocolate, low-ish bitterness.
I like it a lot, because it's sweet and not burnt.

On tap at The Beer Horse, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out rich dark cocoa upfront, with medium roast. Flavour follows the same lines, with dark cocoa and medium roast. Fudge-like and creamy on the palate. Nicely done.

On tap at The Beer Horse, pours a hazy dark amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, bitter pine cones, and toasted biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy hops and bitter pine cones. Bitter in the unpleasant sense, and just not dialed in right. Not too good.

On tap at The Beer Horse, pours an opaque cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank hops, citrus notes and stone fruit pithiness. Flavour is similar, with moderately dank hops, yeasty stone fruit and light citrus. Somewhat dank and dirty, with a bit of a chaotic profile. It's okay.
