Draft pour pint at Postdoc. White wine beers are always more interesting to me. Way more interesting than white wine is alone. Clean copper pour. Swirling foam head. Soft apple, grape like aroma. Cool, thin whiney flavor. Grape, and subtle grains that hide behind. A refreshing, really unique beer here. Fun, and tasty.

Draft pour pint at Flatstick Pub, Kirkland. A golden yellow pour, hinted haze, with a loose soap bubble head. Harvest hops aroma. Very inviting. Citrus reminder. Flavor is a good balance of cool, lemon like, citrus hops, and a sturdy, flavorful, barely sweet malt. Slightly dry grain that lingers. Straw, lemon late reminders. Solid, fun addition to the style. A unique IPA that seems to float between a hazy and a "regular" IPA. Can't be sure, but probably my favorite from the series. Good stuff.

Draft pour at Postdoc. Poured to a schooner. A pale, golden yellow juice pour. Soap bubble head. Very fruity, but I can't define it as guava. Tropical fruit, and appropriately tart. Refreshing sour. Flavorful. Touch of wheat to compliment. Good beer as an overall.

Draft pour pint at Postdoc. A clean golden orange pour. Oily, patchy head. A ton of hop character on the aroma. Earthy and grassy. Quite bitter, but less so than other recent beers I've had. Earthy malts, grassy hops. Has an imperial feel to this. Pretty good.

Draft pour to a schooner at Postdoc. Press red on nitro. Shiny golden. Pour. Nitro cream cap head. Coffee bean, nutty aroma. Thick body. Straw grains, coffee, nuts. Some light vanilla. These white stouts seem to be trending right now. I don't even know what to call these. Creamy. Flavorful. Very nutty. Tasty beer. Still, this style is weird to me.

Tasting at Matt's, can
Cloudy blond color. The aroma is weedy, sweaty, and fruity, interesting. Good body strength, juicy like a NE IPA, but with enough bitterness and resiny hops like a West Coast IPA, pungent, a bit tropical, dry in the final, orange peel, maybe weedy.
Very good.

Dull tan and fairly hazy. Not much head. There's some sort of butter on this, green and yeasty. Not the bright hop I would want here. Bitter, but again not much brightness. Just some vaguely sewagey yeasty stuff. Not really all that happening.

16 oz. can, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma reveals herbal, piney hops, vegetal notes, and biscuity malt. Flavour is fruity, with resinous hops, light herbal notes, and sweet bready malt. A bit of a vegetal character. Meh.

Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. Fresh hops everywhere! Golden orange pour, slight haze. First thing I notice with this is how sweet it is, at least compared to most other fresh hop IPAs. Sweet orange fruit, citrus. Medium hop bitterness, but battled by the sweet. Pretty easy drinking IPA all things considered. Maybe too much of a good thing in this beer. Pretty good.
