Draft 10 oz pour at the 192 lake trail taproom. Beautiful November weather, had to make time to get outside, enjoy it, and recreate some summer activities, all.while drinking autumn beer. I do enjoy Postdoc, and its good to see the beer being sent out more and more each day. Hardly have to go to the brewery anymore. Dark and dense copper pour with a quick fading head. Nothing here comes off as definitive pumpkin. A ton of cinnamon up front in aroma and flavor, and some holiday spices variety to follow. Rich and smooth malt bill throughout. A lingering sweetness, like a sugar cookie. A fine dessert beer here for me. Tasty. Original. I like it.

Draft pour pint at College Inn. Spending a couple of days in the U District, I find myself doing a little wandering. Saw the College Inn, and reminded me of Pruf, so I stopped in for a beer and to remember good times. Postdoc is releasing this beer today at The brewery, so it’s kinda cool to find it here. A rare, sunny warm November day in the PNW deserves a beer like this to pair. A purplish pour that matches the berry in the headline. A spiral fizz head that fights to match. A juicy mixed berry aroma that invites immediately. A strong wheat impression throughout that outlasts the berry. Jammy, what finish. Refreshing. It’s a beautiful day out, drinking a refreshing beer, in probably the dimmest lit basement bar in town. I tend to surprise myself from time to time. Most importantly, I like this place, and I like this beer. Its the little things. Not the best work from Postdoc here, but solid for sure.

Draft pour pint at The Collective. A copper clean pour with a thin head. Fruit hop forward aroma. Flavor is barely sweet, citrus and subtle berry fruity, clean, and not bitter. Key refreshment. Fruity, and a.soft floral afterthought, and cream base. Awesome session.

Draft pour pint at Frankies pizza. Pale golden pour with a mountain of foam head. Very Belgian ale aroma, tons of yeast. Flavor is cool. Lemon without the tart. Floral, but limited. Hops present late. Slightly different said on here. Good stuff.
