A taster shared with Josh, Matt, Phill, and Ryan during FHF WITH priceless Rachel's help (got it back!) in organizing all the mess with glasses. Appearance: hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: nice semi-sweet fermented apples. Taste: same, bubbly, dry. Overal: good one.

A taster shared with Josh, Matt, Phill, and Ryan during FHF WITH priceless Rachel's help (got it back!) in organizing all the mess with glasses. Appearance: a bit hazy blonde. Aroma: weird fermented apples with some botanicals. Taste: kinda better, more apples, less herbs. Overall: pretty good.

Bottle sampled at BC Cider Fest 2023, pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle funk, some earthiness and gentle acidity. Flavour is pretty much bone dry, with apple core, light wild character and some earthiness. Falls a bit flat but is well-attenuated and has some decent earthy funk.

Flavour is bone dry, with a solid earthy funk, light apple core, and a touch of acidity. A bit muted but has a nice funk to it. Pleasant.

Bottle sampled at BC Cider Fest 2023, pours a cloudy dull pink with a small white head. Nose brings out floral plum notes, gentle sweetness, light apple skins. Flavour is medium sweet, with juicy plums, not much apple character left. Simply but brings out a nice juicy plum character without much residual acidity. Medium sweet finish. Decent.

Bottle sampled at BC Cider Fest 2023, pours a fairly clear blonde, tiny head. Aroma brings out light floral notes, flat grapefruit and a touch of apple core. Flavour is medium sweet, with bright apple skins, some apple core, and just enough bitter grapefruit rind to balance. Pleasant incorporation of the grapefruit. Decent.

750 ml bottle. Pours a slightly clouding pale gold. Aromas of mellow apples and soft oak. Flavors of slightly tart apples, soft oak, and stoned fruit. Not getting the maple or bourbon to any extent. Nice enough. Lots of carbonation, but still a bigger mouthfeel than an normal sparkling cider.

Poured from the tap. Clear pinkish red with small white head. Elderberry, apple, floral notes, not bad.

Caramelly brown body, translucent. Smells of sweet rosehip and good oak, reminiscent of sarsaparilla in fact. Taste is cola like bourbon hints, subdued and sweet but working well. Mouthfeel is a little thin and it could be bolder. Still a very nice experiment, excellent flavour.
