Description
There is something to be said about keeping a dream alive, and for a scrappy group of musicians, creatives and seasoned craft brewers, Sea Change Brewing Co. is that dream. All it took was decades of hustling, skill-building, and friendship cresting on a big swing in 2017 that launched the brewery. We started as a single-beer micro-brand and grew into an award-winning staple in the Alberta brewing scene thanks to our team’s engrained D.I.Y. work ethic and creative approach to branding and community collaboration. But behind it all, what remains true from the dream to the pint glass, are diverse, unpretentious beers, crafted with care, true-to-style, and most importantly, great tasting. Cheers Nerds.

On tap at Sea Change. Pours hazy pale yellow with no head. Barely anything on the nose. Flavour has very gentle citrus and a generic weak malt base. Completely useless.

Bottle pour at Barrel Fest 2025. Pours black with a beige head. Sherry, roasted malts, and vanilla on the nose. Flavour has a decent amount of roasted malts, bitter rooibus, some sherry. It's a bit jumbled and slapdash.

Slightly cloudy yellow, medium white head. Aroma is soft grapefruit, crackery cereals. Light mouth feel, tight carb. Low bitterness, soft citrus finish. Underwhelming.

Hazy, good head. Aroma is a bit of onion and some slightly cheesy hop. Moderate bitterness, light bfruitiness, mild stone fruit. Fullish body for style but an indistinct malt character. Seems pretty nondescript.

473ml can. Pours a hazy straw colour with a medium, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Aroma of grainy wheat malt, grapefruit and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat malt, grapefruit, orange and pine resin in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing and crushable. Good for what it is.
