Bottle shared at The Cad’s 10 year get together. 29/03/2015. Many thanks to Matteo. Nice purple pink coloured pour with a pink frothy head. Aroma is musty sour, parmessan cheese, sharp citric acid. Flavour is composed of sharp tart cherry fruit, acid, sweet raspberry notes, dark cherry. Palate is sharp, with a little sweet, frothy in the mouth.

37.5CL Bottle picked up in Belgium. I have a few of these so I’ll grab a bottle ever few years after this initial rating. In the 3xxx/3800 range of bottles. Quite a few of these. Very "limited" :) Enjoyed at 40F in stemmed wine-glass.
A - No cork pop, actually no head unless I pour very vigorously. Appearance, dark reddish brown. Doesn’t look very appealing on appearance alone.
S - I get far more cherry aroma than raspberry. No tart or sour aroma at all. Some musty mold, oak, cheese and sweet cherry juice.
T - There’s a tart intensity on the sides of my mouth. Finish is just cherry juice with funk. At first, I do get a little bit of tart taste, more like a fruit salad than beer. I think all of the sour comes from raspberry. Copper, metal, tin taste in the middle to finish.
M - non existent mouthfeel. Thin, oily.
O - Unfortunately, I’m very unimpressed by this beer. Will wait a few years to try the other bottle.

750ml bottle bought @Les Vignerons (Rome) and shared @Brasserie 4:20. Pours a very dark pigeon’s blood with a minimal pinkish head. Aroma of cherry yougurt, sugary, chewingum, disappointed. Flavour has a strong sweetness leading to a poor sour end. Medium body, medium carbonation. Can’t believe in my eyes, this one is SO MUCH overrated! Rough and naive.

BIIR White IPA 6.8% A Barcelona Craft Beer pick up at Hopduvel in Gent. It turns out this was brewed in Belgium @ Anders in collaboration with Ginther Bensch. New world hops and U.S. IPA fused with a belgian wit. It pours an ultra-pale cloudy gold, too light more like a lemonade. The aroma is a ton of orange and some bready wheat spiciness. Not all that IPA like so far. Very spritzy rough carbonation like an aggressive seltzer. The taste is bitter lemon rind, some wit yeast character and a harsh hoppiness. WTF? Fail.

330 ml. bottle @ home. BBF 07/05/17. Hazy golden big white head at first but quickly collapses. Nose is heavily mineral with light floral notes and touch cooked cabbage. Carbonation is low, touch watery, drinks very easily. Taste is light sulfur, floral, flowers, strongly mineral, sparkling water, mellow citrus, tad cooked cabbage. Quite mineral, a bit too weak, mineral water-like but enjoyable enough grass, floral & lemon profile. Could do well as a stand everyday beer.

Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, good fine carbonation. Smooth light malts, medium sweet. Spicy orange hops with a nice peach streak. Traces of lemon and pineapple and unsually - coconut! Mild bitterness in the smooth finish. Spicy lemon linger. Nice job, very drinkable.
