Pours unclear blonde, small to OK white head. Smell is crisp, sharp bitter, very fresh. This smells like de la senne to me ! Taste is bitter indeed, rather sharp, some peanut-sidenote, that’s really new and nice to me. very good , dry bitter beer. Some aroma features though. This is de la senne - like quality, very nice beer.

Pours rather unclear blonde, ok white head. Smell is fresh, crisp malts, mild bitter touch , distant sweet aspect. Taste is very fresh ! extremely fresh, even. Fruity, some zest, some spices ( Usually I dislike that, but here it’s a complex, balanced mix that just works ) easy drinkability with medium sweetness, medium bitterness. All about balance, plus that little somethin’ extra. Out of a beer I expected nothing off, this really is a (positive) surprise. the big downside however, is that it’s very overcarbonated ( hey, still Belgian, right ? ) The ending is malty, very full, bread-like heavy grains. Impressive is perhaps a highly grabbed term, but that has more to do with the style than the beer. in it’’s style however, this can be concidered as a top-beer ! (PS I’m not talking about ratebeer-style boundaries, I’m talking about flavor categories. This would fall under the Oh-so-overproduced Belgian blonde/tripel things and thats just such a boring category, that this shocks my by how destinguished and good it is, without being overly hopped, or sour, or anything great like that, whcih would make it fall out of the style ) all and all, I’d see myself drink this regularly, If I weren’t so much on the hunt for new beers Always. if they’d fix the overcarbonation, i’d even probably have this as a drinkbeer in my real daily life !
