On tap at Optimism, pours a bright hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out soft English yeast, with light biscuity malt. Flavour is bright, with English yeast, English biscuity malt and toasted bready. For such a light and delicate style, this is done very well. Frankly impressive for what it is.

Draft pour pint are Optimism. This place still amazes me in the weirdest ways. A cloudy copper orange with a rocky foam head. A straw constant, typical lager like aroma. Flavor is cool and crisp, with just barely an impression of holiday spice to influence. Clean and crisp lager, but not enough holiday like influence to make this an absolute stand out. Still, a tasty lager as an overall. Solid.
