22oz bomber split with Anndiesel. Super yeasty, unfiltered thick orange-tan. Creamy, impressive white head. I’m not a fan of most Double Wits I’ve had, but this one sort of reminds me more of a big German Weizenbock. albeit more aggressively hopped...hmmm..sort of like a big White IPA in a sense. Orange juice, grapefruit, banana, clove. Very nice offering, another winner from Peak.

22oz bomber split with Anndiesel. Pitch black body, beige head. Sweet cocoa, coffee aroma. Quite a fantastic Stout, the big luscious chocolate tones remind me a lot of some great Danish Imperial examples, or maybe a mellower version of a Southern Tier. A nice balance between the chocolate, oak, and coffee. Really covers/incorporates the alcohol well, delightfully drinkable. Peak makes some solid beers that fly under the radar, and this is one of them.

Pours orange has a small one finger white head dissipated within a minute. It left some light foamy lacing and no rings. There was a fair amount of rising carbonation, the aroma has pine and the hops with some minor floral tones. the taste is bitter through the previously mentioned flavors, the palate is medium body and the carbonation was felt in my mouth. It left a somewhat dry finish, overall, decent for the style, but nothing to scream about.

Pours a clear golden, has a lumpy white head that lasted a good four minutes. There was barely any carbonation seen rising. The lacing is foamy all around the glass, the smell has pine and strong hops, taste is bitter through the pine and the hops, palate is light to medium, clean, sessionable, carbonation felt, pine aftertaste, no finish, overall this is a good brew, if I had this again, probably only on tap

Aroma: The nose is a mix of doughy/bready malts, caramel, citrus hops, and some light pine
Appearance: It pours a hazed caramel-brown color with a fluffy beige head and semi-coating lace
Flavor: The taste is mid-sweet and mid-bitter, starts malty, but it gets somewhat hoppy as well
Palate: This one has a medium body, a smooth, creamy feel, soft carbonation, and a dryish finish
Overall Impression: Interesting beer. This one was hoppier than I expected, and turned out to be pretty solid stuff. I'd grab this one again for a fairly sessionable Amber with a solid hop bite.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle, best enjoyed before July 2013, poured into a shaker. Pours clear amber with small off-white head, and medium lacing. Medium body, medium/low carbonation, and nice herbal hop aroma. Taste is caramel malt, grapefruit, and herbal hops. Not a dunkleweizen.

On draft at the lost dog cafe in mclean. Pours a clear dark amber with an off white head. Floral hop aroma. Some exotic spices (fenugreek?) in the flavor. Bitter finish.
