About
The Celt Experience came into being back in 2007 when the brewery based in the Pontygwindy Industrial Estate, Caerphilly was opened. Prior to this, Tim Newman (Managing Director) was brewing beers in his Fathers garage The Celt Experience quickly grew to the point of exporting beers to over 20 countries around the world.

In May 2016, the sudden news broke that The Celt Experience would be ceasing production but would keep the brand going. In June 2016, Evan Evans stepped in to pick up the brand. Celt branded beers are now brewed at the Evan Evans Llandeilo brewery.

This listing therefore includes beers currently brewed at Evan Evans and also at the original Celt experience brewery located in Caerphilly.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle, 4.2%. Rough aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour has a bit of fruit, slightly rough, but clean bitterness.

Clear golden with a medium off white head. Hoppy aroma with malt and fruity notes. Flavor was quite dry with plenty of hops and pine. Finished dry and bitter.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a clear deep golden with an off-white head leaving a little laces. Sweet and citrusy nose. Medium body, a little fuit and vitamin c with quite some hops in the finish. 130810

Bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. A clear, golden beer with a dense, off-white head. Pleasant fruity, citrusy hops with some blackcurrant and a cheesy touch in the aroma. A little biscuity, toffee-like touch too. The flavor is pretty much the same, the citrusy hops dominating. Medium body. The finish has a pleasant bitterness, and some toffee-ish malts in the back. A quite easy drinkable beer, but not very exciting. 100813

Cask-conditioned at the Green Man, Bristol 31/01/10. Clear amber in colour with a moderate white head. Aroma of citrus, sweetish malts and a whiff of spice. Malty flavour, with apricot fruit and dry finish. Very enjoyable.

Cask @ Bon Accord. Amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts and fruits. Flavour: toasted malts, biscuit malts, slightly hoppy and fruity. Hint of iodine. Very well sessionable.

From cask at Market Porter. Pours almost fully clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is vague hoppy, light malty. Crisp citrusy bitter hops flavoured. Dry and bitter flavoured finish. Crisp, clean and nice hoppy brew.
