Description
Bicycle Craft Brewery was created from humble beginnings, much like many of the craft breweries before us. It started with a home brew kit, a passion for craft beer and a love for creating something delicious out of all natural ingredients. Founded in 2014, Fariborz and Laura wanted to share their passion for delicious, natural, down to earth beer. Their interest in new flavours and pairings have created some unique seasonal beers and ensured their mainstays are delicious every time they're poured.
Together with a hard working team, Bicycle Craft Brewery is about natural, well-crafted and delicious beer. Sourcing locally grown ingredients when available, donating all of our spent grain to local farms, and working with the community on collaboration beers, fundraisers and pairings, we pride ourselves on being your down to earth local brewery. All of our unfiltered ales are a true testament to the bicycle and the wild places you discover along the way.

An initially dense white head leaves some lacing and dissipates rather quickly over a creamy, unfiltered grapefruit juice body. A vibrant nose of citrus fruit pulp and rind zest. The fresh fruit notes continue into the taste profile. Grapefruit, pomegranate, tangerine and a touch of ripe banana are all fresh and appealing. Hops add a touch of bitterness. The lactose sweetens and adds creaminess. The finishing tartness holds it all together.

A pure white head on a cloudy, translucent grapefruit juice body. The nose is classic North East IPA - fresh squeezed orange, mango, pineapple and grapefruit notes. the taste follows suit with a fresh, non-astringent medley of hop induced fruit accents - mango, pineapple, grapefruit and kiwi among them. The malt is sweet and understated. A slight IPA Soapiness and a hint of pepper. Medium bodied with a slightly slick mouth feel. Solid effervescence. Really well done.

Wasn’t impressed the first time around so left a bottle in the cellar for 8 months. A touch richer and more complete now, but still hitting my BW favs list. A good looking beer with a well laced off-white head on a dense ruby/caramel body. The nose is understated with hints of butterscotch, malt and butter. Butterscotch, some dark fruit and cherries along with some earthy hops. Taste is still a tad thin with a slightly metallic edge to the finish.

A thin fluffy white head on an amber body. Nose features pine resin, melon and mild brett yeast. Some nice balances and craft in this one. The funk is understated but quite present. Sweet bready malt underpins it all with citrus, citrus rind and grassy elements in the hop profile. A hint of cherry and melon in the finish along with a peach accent. Nicely done
