Single via Appalachian after a couple years of stagnant six-packs not selling on the fridge. Pint glass @home. Faintly hazy, not opaque, pale straw, soda pour. Sour Sidra, lemon-orange, strong epoxy, gum, straw nose. Simple, twangy-sour Sidra with a very slight grapefruit edge on the varnish-y, off-dry finish. Hops add a bit of tropical but actual definition is long gone. Soda sizzle, acidy, kinda boozy, sulfite headache. This stuff sucks. Maybe I can mix it into something.

A hazed yellow blonde cider with aroma of sweet guava pulp, light chili, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity cider with guava paste, chili peppers, nice and rich. Cask Days 2019

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours hazy deep rosé with a very slight white smear. Aroma is rather sour red grape. Med body or so. Flavor is moderately sour, rather woody, red grapes - more cab than Concord for sure. The sour moderates with time, and an actual cider aspect becomes detectable. I tend to fear 101 ciders, but this isn’t all that dangerous. Making me think cider and sour can work together.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours sort of champagne blush. Light sourish aroma. Med body. Flavor is mildly sour, maybe a bit tart. Clearly somewhat musty wood and fruit notes that are surely red grape. I vote for port barrels being involved. The sour/tart mellows away nicely. Good stuff.

Cloudy and quite pale. Big hop nose, some phenol funk. Tart, hoppy, light apples. Intense, but I’m a fan.
