Notre coopérative n’est pas une entreprise privée comme les autres, c’est une coopérative, et cela change tout ! Notre coopérative a été créée par et pour les producteurs-adhérents. Tout a commencé en 1953, quand 12 producteurs de pommes de la vallée de la Rance ont décidé de mettre en commun leurs moyens de production et de commercialisation. Partageant la même passion et la même exigence de qualité, ils ont lancé la coopérative « Les Celliers Associés », à Pleudihen-sur-Rance dans les Côtes d’Armor, sur un site de 5 hectares bordant la rivière de la Rance. Notre raison d’être : offrir un débouché aux producteurs-adhérents en transformant les pommes en cidre et jus de pomme, pour le plaisir de tous.

15 year old bottle. Maybe not more rateable... Hazy dark golden with little white head. Aroma is fruity juicy apples, tanins. Taste is intensely dry with many tanins and lots of sour fruit. A layer of mealy stuff on the tongue. Almost undrinkable due to the tanins and dryness. Reminds me of unblended lambic... Probably too old?

Sample at Aficionado’s. Clear orange-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lace. Aroma of apples and spice. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly tart apple, malt and spice. The finish is dry with a fresh apple aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bouteille: Deep golden, a bit unclear, sparkling, rapidly collapsing loose white head; moderate sweetish nose of ripe apples with a slight touch of malic acid and some cellary aromas from far away; mainly sweet flavour, accompanied by a little tartness; even though a bit fizzy, all in all pretty soft, light to medium bodied; slighly lingering sweetish finish of ripe apples with very delicate almondy and cellary traces and an even more delicate tartness in the aftertaste. Clean and soft, just a bit on the sweet side...

Tap at the Borefts after party @ Kaapse... 2016. Poured a clear copper colour with little life. The aroma is sweet apple. The flavour is moderate sweet with a light crispy apple palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Sampled from 0.75l corked bottle @ La Boqueria Market, Barcelona. This is a blurry almost amber looking one, a little fading sidesticking white head on the top. A superb lovely nose filled with sweet pear, red apples. Tastes delicious dry. Lots of woody tones, almost soft musky in a good way. Just a lovely and refreshing beverage all the way - and paired perfectly with freshly made crepes! Sweet! 06.08.2014
