On tap at Isle de Garde. Pours a clear amber with a beige head. Toasted brown bread and attenuated brown sugar on the nose. Flavour has a nice malt expression, like crunchy toasted brown bread, some dry brown sugar. A touch of booze discernable, but generally quite drinkable. This is very nice.

On tap at Isle de Garde. Pours clear pale blonde with a white head. Grainy and floral on the nose; yeast comes through pretty clearly. Flavour has a more subdued saison yeast character, floral, light citrus. Malts are light and a bit grainy. Nice, but I liked the saison more.

On cask at Isle de Garde. Pours brown with a beige head. Nice brown bread malt character on the nose with some nutty notes. The malt expression is equally good in the flavour, nice and bready with some nuttiness. A solid brown ale.

On tap at Isle de Garde. Pours hazy blonde with a large white head. Cracker malts and dry grass on the nose. Flavour has cracker malts and a fairly soft grassy hop character, not as sharp and peppery as I was hoping. Carbonation is a bit low for the style. Clean enough though. Not bad.

Draft at the source. Slight hazy golden with a thick white head. Bready, light malty, fruity hops. Clean, crisp and tasty with that nice light fruity hops giving character. Solid.

An amber ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with light fruity esters, light cloves, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with light candy sugar, light curacao, pleasant. On tap at Avant-Garde.

Cask Days 2018. Slightly hazy yellow pour, medium white head. VERY saazy, floral, bright grasses, soft pale malts, and cereals. amazing balance, crisp, and clean, and very refreshing. excellent.
