Bottle at RBESG GT 2023. High sweetness, balanced by moderate warmth, rather low balancing bitter and tart apple character. It is very tasty because it is very sweet, but lacks a bit of finesse. Good but not great.

20cl bottle from the stall at the Montreal farmers market. Pours a clear, leggy dark gold, still. Wonderful nose of baked pear and over ripe apples, some baking spices and butterscotch. Flavors all follow, lovely baked pear. Finishes waaay too smooth for the ABV. Long.
