Bomber. Pours black with a 3 finger creamy/foamy dark tan head. Aroma is milkish chocolate with coffee and underlying burnt malt. Suspect anise. Flavor is burnt malt, with lightly sweet chocolate and coffee. It’s very smooth. Drinks very well. Long chocolate finish.

Bottle. Pours with a near black body and a medium sized khaki to light brown head. Aromas of coffee, dark fruit, licorice (black AND red), coffee, coffee creamer, and cracker jacks. Flavors of mild coffee, herbal hops, chocolate, roast, licorice and vanilla been. That said the beer is not very sweet at all. Creamy carbonation. Feels bigger than 6.8%. Another very good Left Coast beer.

Bomber from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours really black with a dark tan foamy head. Aroma is heavily dark chocolate. Full bodied. Flavor is very chocolate. Very. The coffee is present, but the chocolate is much more present. And it has a nice amount of bitter to offset the malt. Makes me think of chocolate fudge over a mix of chocolate and coffee ice cream. The chocolate is so dark, it suggests unsweetened baking chocolate. Can’t recall so much chocolate in an ale. Brilliant.

Bottle. Pours with an ink like body with just as much head as you would expect from ink. That said a swirl coats the glass with a nice brown-iodine hue. Aromas of chocolate, fudge, currants, dark fruit, vanilla and licorice, acidic coffee and bread. Huge vanilla bean, cocoa, coffee and alcohol nose, with a nice sweet bready backbone. Flavors of are lightly salty and lightly nutty with a lot of bread and chocolate, some coffee grounds too. High attenuation for a stout of this size. Essentially flat sadly. Thick body. Would be much better if it had any carbonation north of cask levels.

Bottle from a trade with cbkschubert. Pours clear light copper color with off white head. Lots of pine in the aroma. Flavors of pine, sweet malts and alcohol. Lots of resiny hop bitterness. Pretty boozy. Medium body with average carbonation and a syrupy mouhfeel. Thanks Craig.

bottle pours hazy orange with a thin white head. Aroma is citrus hops, yeast, some pine notes. Flavor is interesting, starts with sweet grassy malts, citrus notes follow and end with a spruce and grassy finish.

bottle pours light amber with a medium white head. Aroma is tart lemon peel and hay. Flavor is sweet tripel upfront with tart lemon, slightly acidic, with a nice dry hoppy finish.

22oz bottle pours a slightly hazy but otherwise golden yellow with one ring of white head. Nose is sugary, yeasty, light spice, tropical fruits. Flavor is astringent alcohol, fruit, yeast, bland tropical fruits. Medium bodied and way to sweet on the finish.
