500 ml can from Family Mart. I generally have enjoyed these, so looking forward. Says it uses Citra and Mosaic hops. Bright citrusy nose even as I pour. Quite big for a Sapporo. Definitely getting Citra: lemon, sweet orange, plus a bit of passion fruit, and nice pilsner malt too. Bright, deep golden color. Clear, with a low head. Quite hoppy. Citrus, herbal, quite bitter too. Crackery malt. The hops go quite nicely with the pilsner-like malt. Like many in this series, it is just a lick too bitter, and that hands around quite long. Pretty decent, though

Can from Yamaya. Bright deep golden with a high, thick head. Lemony hop nose, honey malts, wheat biscuit. Clean and simple. Crisp malt flavor, wheat, biscuits, lemon, bit of herb. Crisp, soft body. Kind of simple and soft but well put together and tasty. Reasonably bitter finish.

Alright, quite sweet macro thing going on. Caramel. Touch of hops. Touch of cinnamon or spice somehow.

Sapporo Lagar 6% A decoction brew with a somewhat malty sweet aroma after an earthy slinky first whiff. The medium bodied beer is very gassy and the taste starts off malty sweet but with some odd clove Weizen type notes and has a bit of bitter green hops in the finish/aftertaste. Overly gassy and boozy, yet another overhyped let down from the majors.

500 ml can from Family Mart. Rich malt nose, herbal noble hops. Very pretty deep golden orange-amber with a low, thick head. Clear. Warm, sweet malt, touch of toast, tiny bit of caramel, stark bitterness, some herbal, grassy hops. Bit of booze bite in the finish, along with hop bitterness. Nice malt, but a little too strong. Quite creamy. My wife said she thought it tasted like a maerzen and I tend to agree. More like the newer Oktoberfest types, although they hide their alcohol better than this does. An interesting beer and pretty well done for a major brewer. Not perfect but I will drink a few.

deep golden color. Frothy white head. Nice toasted malt character with some grassy notes. Malt forward, rich medium full bodied, feel like this is 5.5–6%. Not bad

Må være denne, selv om den holdt 4,7 for der norske markedet. Grei, smooth. Temmelig ren lager, men også uten særlig personlighet ... Og også uten særlige feil.
