Thanks Tommy for sharing this 50CL bottle. Stubby with a big ass raven on the front. What’s tis raven doing? Cawing at the moon, duh! This ragged ass raven was poured into some HF stemware at cellar temp. Looks like a light yellow color. no head to speak of. Raven be keeping it chill. This smells like something I made in high school where you take apple juice and just put a bunch of liquor in it. The flavor is significantly better than the aroma. Cloying sweet, then a dry chalky tart finish with not much alcohol other than a little bit of vanilla and booze. Interesting.

Very light green-yellow. This has an odd sweet-tart character, and there is a bit of that Asian pear character. You wouldn’t call it interesting and having an apple/pear hybrid doesn’t really make it much different. Too similar to the basic.

500mL bottle, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out a good amount of fresh pears, light sweetness, medium acidity. Flavour is fairly robust, with lots of pears, light acidity, and a nice warming effect. Not overly complex, but the higher ABV makes this more interesting than the average perry. Good stuff.

Tasting at Matt’s
Yellow color, very pale. Lemony aroma, the flavor profile shows more pear than apple, it has a nice degree of acidity but not much depth.
Nice.
