Sweet corn grassy hoppy nose. Full body mainstream lager. Fairly sweet for what it is, but actually hides alcohol well. Not bad.

Heller, wenig herber Antrunk. Helle, leicht alkoholisch geprägte Malznoten, dann wässrig und langweilig. Noch wenig würzig, kurzer trockener Nachhall. Belanglos. 7/7/6/6/7/6

Überraschend milder Antrunk mit hell herben Noten auf geringem Level. Spritzig, Nuancen von Honig, dann wieder etwas herber. Einfach süffig, nett. 8/7/8/7/5/8

640ml bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, March 16, many thanks to blackhaddock! Myanmar tick is in the bag. Pours clear gold, white head. Basically a smooth, lightly sweet lager with not a lot else going on. Dangerously drinkable, is this really 8%? Expected worse.

640ml bottle shared between five at the March 2016 Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting. Supplied by me from a friend who had just visited Myanmar. Looked fine, golden, clean and clear, on top a snow white head, Corn and grain lead in the aroma and taste, but it had something about it which I liked (maybe the 8% ABV helped), it wasn’t your average ’Tramp Juice’ that is for sure.

29th Feb 2016. 640ml bottle shared with the husband of the lady that brought this back from a cycling holiday in Burma/Myanmar. Usual Lager/Pilsner look, golden, bright, clean and clear: weak and fast fading white head. Semi-sweet corn nose and taste, easy to feel the alcohol level because the lack of flavour or depth. OK but I think it could give a good headache/hangover if you were to over-indulge on it.

Bottle shared from a shop in Yangon. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of sweet malt, metallic notes and caramel. Flavour is light moderate sweet and light bitter. Light bodied with a nasty alcohol palate and above light carbonation.
