This IPA poured a light yellow colour with a soapy, white head. Scents include juniper, butter popcorn, pine? No lacing. First swig was smooth with med/low carbonation. Flavours of butter, juniper and malt. Finish is hoppy with medium bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This porter poured a deep amber colour with a soapy head. Minimal lacing. Scents include rubber, butane, vinyl and alcohol. First swig was smooth and quite roasty. Flavours of cinnamon and cinnamon toast crunch, along with roasted grain. Finish is roasty and slightly sweet. With cereal flavour lingering. I don't want to condemn this but the nose is way off. Hopefully this is not the norm. The beer tastes very good but the smell is off. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This IPA poured a deep black colour with a nice creamy tan head. Scents of coffee and that’s it. First swig was nice and creamy with delicious coffee flavour. Finish is burnt and coffee flavors are lingering forever.

Can: Poured a hazy amber color ale with a large foamy head with god retention and some lacing. Aroma of lightly sweet Belgian style malt is OK. Taste is a mix of Belgian style malt with some cereal notes and some light caramel with hints of fruity ester and a touch of residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Not bad but missing some attenuation.

Second Bell City brew review of the night. Pours a clean rich amber colour with a creamy beige head, good retention and creamy lacing. Fruity aromas with nice malts. Eventually, lots of butterscotch come out. Mild caramel flavours with some decent light hops to balance things. Thankfully not as rich as their Lenoir Belgian Ale. Pretty drinkable actually.

Pours a clean amber colour with a warm cap that does not leave much lacing. Rye-like cereal grain aromas with the Belgian Ale yeast giving candy notes with some mild spices. The taste is pretty sweet at the start with fruity notes and really, lots of sweet malts. Hints of oranges lingers with very light darker grain. Not very Belgian except for the yeast in the smell and way too rich in the taste to be enjoyable.

This session IPA poured a light yellow colour with a big, bright white head. Scents include creamed corn, cream and grass/hay. A little lacing. First swig was very good with flavors of light grassy hops and a little bit of that corn flavour to boot. Finish is medium bitter with a little bit of nut flavour lingering.

Bottle from the brewery. Clear medium amber with a small quick fading off white head. Nose is light bread with pine, citrus and a slight cattiness. Light sweet toffee leading to a light+ resin and citrus bitterness. Mouth is medium- (as befits a session) and slick with a light lingering bitterness. Nice enough. 7/3/7-/3+/13

Bottle from the brewery. Pitch black with a large dark khaki head that fades quickly leaving minimal lace. Nose has tons of chocolate and coffee with roast, and some light vanilla. Flavour is moderately bitter with very little sweetness to support. Mouth is more dry than creamy and a bit thinner than expected with soft carbonation. Different. 8-/4-/6+/3/14
