This porter poured a deep amber brown colour with a minimal, creamy, tan coloured head. Scents include roasted malt, caramel, smoke and brown sugar. First swig was smooth with low carbonation and loads of roasty flavour. Slightly sweet with a good dose of smoke and coffee. Finish is also lightly sweet with heavy roasted flavour and minimal hop flavour.

Bottle - Cherry, balsamic and oaky notes. Cloudy maroon with a rich beige head. Tart cherry, wooden oak, thin and light. Smells great, unfortunately the taste lives up to the nose. A bit weak.

Draft - Dusty, bit of farmhouse funk and some herbal notes. Cloudy orange with a rich white head. Wheat, banana light acidic fruit and light pepper notes. I don’t get enough strawberry, which would have been nice, especially if it added more acidity or tartness.

Draft - Sweet caramel and earthy hops. Cloudy brown copper with a decent beige head. Caramel and big bitterness with a dry finish. Seems much more than 40 IBU. Although crazy bitter, quite nice for me.

Draft - Grains, light twig and caramel. Hazy copper with a decent beige head. Caramel and twig. Typical English bitter, as close as I have seen from a foreigner. Unfortunately I prefer the sweeter interpretations.

Draft - Sweet candied citrus, pithy bitterness and some pale malts. Clear gold with a rich white head. Light sweet pithy bitterness. Easy drinking and simple.

Draft - Light roast malts and some pale malt sweetness. Deep brown with a nice beige head. Roast malts, vegative bitterness and almost a bit of farmhouse and manure in the finish. Toasty roast or toffee sweetness is not there. Odd long light bitter finish.
