Can from the brewery. Dark brown pour, with a large beige head. Aroma is loaded with roasty, caramel, toffee notes. Bready and nutty, lots of dark fruit, and with a strong metallic finish. The candi sugar is prevalent, malts are strong, the light hops cut some of the sweetness. Good, but not great.
