Can from the LCBO. Pours a cloudy beige-amber colour, peach-like juice with a soapy off-white head that dissipates quickly leaving a little foamy lace patches. Belgian Yeast ale aromas with orange notes and some mild spices. The taste is pretty much the same with some light hops coming out in the finish. A little tart stays on the palate. An ok brew, but not a Saison. More of a witbier.

Can from the LCBO. Very cloudy medium amber under a fluffy white head that fades slowly and leaves some sparse lace. Nose is yeast, pepper, apricot, pear, banana. Flavour leans more towards the pepper than the nose does with the yeast following with just a light fruit tartness. Mouth is medium- with prickly carbonation. Seems a little unbalanced. 7/3+/6-/3+/12-

A hazed reddish amber ale with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with citrusy notes, floral hops, light grainy character, very nice. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with fruity esters, citrusy floral hops, light treacle, well done. Can from LCBO on Carling and Woodroffe.

This pale poured a nice Amber colour with a great, off white, creamy head. Scents include malt, citrus hops, spruce and grass. First swig was quite hoppy with grassy citrus flavours most prominent. Quite malty with light caramel flavours around the hood. Finish is bitter with hop flavour lingering...

Can from the LCBO. Clear gold with a lingering off white head with some lacing. Sweet malt and honey with just a touch of grass. Light+ sweet honey with just a light bitterness in the middles. Slightly thin mouth with soft carbonation and a crisp finish. Yup it’s a pilsener. 7/3+/6/3-/13

Collingwood Downhill Pale Ale Can from my cousin. Beautiful orange gold with a thick head of foam. The nose is peppery grassy hop character while it has a light somewhat watery body. Decent flavor of flavor/herbal hoppiness And a dry finish ok but needs more body.

Can stamped with NOV3015 underneath. Pours a clean rich amber colour with a bubbly-creamy beige head, good retention and very nice lacing. Aromas of rusty water from the hops. These hops are also a little too strong in the taste and not well-balanced. Grassy, bitter, but luckily not as rusty as the scent. With time, caramel and nutty malts appear in the nose. Fruity malts in the taste. Becomes acceptable. Drinkable.

2015 Vintage edition. Pours a clean golden colour with a light amber hue. The frothy head lasts quite long, warm coloured and gives nice creamy-foamy lacing. Taste of fruity malts with some sharp dry hops, alcohol and even some hints of vanilla. Aromas are also fruity with some orange notes. Not a bad strong ale with some decent grass and warming for winter.

Pours a lightly hazy amber colour with a frothy light-beige head, great retention and thick, creamy, patchy lacing. The fruity malts with some metallic notes seems like smelling wet socks. Alright, might be like wet hay from the grain with the hops. The taste is much better thankfully. Fruity malts, mild grassy hops with a nice mild dry finish. Light grain lingers. Other than the aromas, a pretty nice Pale Ale.

Can: Poured an amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramel malt with light dry citrusy hops. Taste is mostly dominated by caramel malt with light sugar notes and some dry citrusy hops. Body is about average with good carbonation. Too much caramel malt for the style and hops flavours not powerful enough.
