500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear golden yellow colour with a small white head, good retention. Aroma: malt, bready, hint of grass. Taste: light bready malt, slight sweetness, some hops but almost no bitterness. Slick mouthfeel but a bit on the thin side, light-medium body, moderate carbonation. Nothing special but certainly one of the better lagers from Africa.

From can at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport 26.09.16. Pale clear golden. Dense and persistent white head and lacing. Hints of wet grass and wet cardboard in aroma. Taste is waterish, with maize, wet grass and malt sourness. Unappealing aftertaste.

From bottle at Juma Kenyatta International Airport 18.02.16. Clear pale straw colour. Bright white head and lacing. Moderate aroma of stale hops and grass. Unfresh taste. Unfresh and unappealing, with low bitterness. Metallic aftertaste.
