500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours pale yellow with a medium rocky white head that bubbles down to a small lasting head. Aroma is sweet grain, cereal, dusty hops. Taste is sugar sweet and watery. Finish is tangy rather than bitter. Really bland lager that reminds me of some of the cheapest Russian lagers. At least it’s a new country tick.

300ml bottle, brewed in Kenya, from Woodlands Supermarket in Kigali / Rwanda 🇷🇼. Malty and thick beginning. Lots of roasted malt and liquorice. Moderate bitterness in the aftertaste, thick an viscous, very dry. Nice malty intense aftertaste. Great and deep stuff.

Bottle from Andover Liquors Pour a crystal clear golden straw color with a decent sized tightly bubbled white head that dissipates quickly to a faint cap on top. Aromas of sweet grainy honey like pilsner malt and a faint floral hop. I’m a bit surprised that the aroma is so damn inviting. The flavor is lightly sweet and honey like with some faint earthy spicy hop to balance. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and slick sugary water mouthfeel. Very nice example of a pale lager, I could see some of these on a warm summer day.

Jan. ’16. A 0.5 l bottle from Prosi Exotic supermarket. It poured a yellow body with small head. Stinky corn and grainy aroma. No corn listed? Flavor was lightly sweet, hay, lots of it. A bit of cucumbers, too. Thin to medium bodied with moderately long sweetish grainy/eggy finish. Not extremely bad, just an average pale lager with weird notes. Well...

Bottle @ Peculier Pub. Clear pale yellow with very small frothy white head, faint malt aroma, medium carbonation, little malt taste, almost no hops, watery body, abrupt finish. This could only be a substitute for water under the fierce African sun!
