Medium white head. Pale yellow body. Faint floral honey flour aroma. Dry floral honey mealy taste. Light body. Mealy mouthfeel. The aftertaste is essentially the same. Total lack of complexity and depth, but otherwise perfectly OK, even mildly nice. (0.5l bottle shared by gr0ve.)

Pours an extremely pale yellow with a which head that is very carbonated. the head dissipates quickly but leaves a collar. aroma has some sweet grain, but with DMS. In some ways like stale straw. Thin mouthfeel has some tingling on the finish, but the finish is very short. Sweetness on the palate makes this drinkable if it were a warm afternoon. While there are many flaws with this beer, it is not so bad.

Bottle at Ghana Cafe. Bright yellow, medium white head, scant lacing. Aroma of sewer. Taste is bitter, light, plain. Not a good beer.Earlier Rating: 12/13/2008 Total Score: 1.5Small bottle at Ghana Cafe in DC. Better body than most developing country lagers, decent hops in the finish. I would like to try the domestic Kenyan version.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Hoppy nose. Light-bodied, shy malty base with a touch of bread and grains. Strawy-woody hops blend in, mild finish. With 35°C outside, for the first time I see that these beers make sense - it was a very pleasant thirst quencher.

Bottle from Morrisons. Pale gold with plenty of fizz. Sweet, bready malts, a vague suggestion of tired hops and drab, sweet finish. Poor.

Bottle. Pale gold body with a frothy, white head that quickly diminishes. Malty aroma with notes of grain, bread, sweet grass, straw. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lighty to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, slightly sticky texture, lively carbonation. The taste is slightly plasticy. Sweet corn/vegetable notes in the aftertaste. Still, drinkable and tastier than lots of pale lagers.
