Bottle from El Corte Ingles Madrid, and shared in Valladolid. Dark brown. Dates, figs, prunes, molasses, caramel toffee. Front heavy but long, bit too fizzy, with a warm burn. Nice dessert beer.

Bottle from Corte Ingles. Murky brown, light translucent, low brown head. Chocolate roast notes, dry, light praline, a hint booze, orange peel, smoke, light licorice. Somewhat fizzy force carbonated body. Still quite nice drinkable dessert beer.

330ml bottle (BB 01/24) from El Corte Ingles in Valencia, pours a somewhat clear brown with very little head. Aromas & tastes of toffee, caramel, wood, tobacco & malt. Moderate body. Smokey finish. Drinkable & somewhat enjoyable but not in very good condition.

Huge cream head, receding over dark opaque mahogany beer. Cake, whisky, chocolate, raisins, dark candi sugar, banana, liqueurish. Bitterish-woody and very obvious whisky in the mouth. Bit smokey, not turf. Again chocolate, liqueurish. Full bodied, very viscous, light alcoholburn. Soft carbonation. Quite good, no discussion. Txs to Stef!

Faintly greyish tinted pale cream head, medium, over reddish opaque brown beer. Phenolic, smoked herring, smoked ham, brown dry bread, hearth fire. Soft-sweet smoked beer. Again phenolic with a slight salinity. A bit vinous too, strangely enough. Chewy, very slick to oily feel. Soft carbonation, creamy. Not half bad! Thanks to Stef!
